Stevens & Jubb adds ThermaSsure to its Comfort range of baths
Stevens & Jubb, the British bath manufacturer which aims to encourage people to spend more time in the bath, has recently added a complementary product, ThermaSsure, to its Comfort range of baths.
The innovative ThermaSsure system enhances the user’s bathing experience by maintaining the temperature of the bath water at their desired level, removing the need to replace cooling water. The Comfort range was developed with relaxation in mind and launching the ThermaSsure system is Stevens & Jubb’s next step in creating the ultimate in bathing luxury.
“We introduced the ThermaSsure system to people at the KBB 2008 and received great feedback”, said Gary Stevens, Managing Director of Stevens & Jubb. “We really want to encourage more people to ‘get back to bathing’ and we think this is a product which can facilitate this.”
The ThermaSsure system is the latest in bathroom technology and can be factory fitted to any Stevens & Jubb bath. In a one touch, easy operation, the ThermaSsure system maintains the bath water temperature at the level chosen. An illuminated digital display is fitted to the top of the bath which shows the temperature of the water. If the water gets too hot, audible and visual warnings prevent very young and elderly bathers from scalding themselves.
Gary continues: “We have developed the Comfort range to offer design flair at affordable prices. The whole range is dedicated to comfort – from our trademark contoured bath support to the addition of stylish hand grips on a number of our models. The ThermaSsure system is easy to install and has very low running costs. It is therefore a perfect addition to our range for those seeking luxury on a budget. It’s environmentally friendly too – because users do not have to refill their bath every time the water cools.”
The ThermaSsure system can also be fitted with an optional ‘ThermaPure’ system, to purify the bathing water, killing off any viruses or bacteria making it safe for the whole family to enjoy. The unit is fitted out of sight underneath the bath tub and is virtually silent whilst in use. The maximum selectable temperature is 43 degrees Celsius, ensuring safety at all times.
The Comfort range was launched in March 2008 and is sold exclusively through independent retailers. The range of ten baths includes single (Mono) and double (Duo) designs, offset baths, corner baths and a range of bath screens and accessories. All models can be fitted with whirlpool and spa systems and colour changing LED Chromotherapy lighting.
